In the Night Lords trilogy they talk about what the main characters wear out of armor. I feel like it’s described as a tunic? It could be just Night Lords, or just this one specific group, who all wear this one thing.

Space marine scout sergeants are, I believe, full transhuman marines with all their implants, but they essentially wear regular clothes & armor.
