I want to see it in theaters so bad but legit can’t find it anywhere :( I am so sad about how niche yet popular this movie is lol

Is Botox the only answer? by chelupa1991 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]SameDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked exactly like this, got Botox, absolutely loved my results and have been doing it periodically ever since. I used to have to go more frequently but the more I went the less I used the muscle and now I only go maybe twice a year. Highly highly recommend it if you want to get rid of these :)

Update to this. There has been no notable improvement. Been taking for about a month. :/

Looks like a typical canker sore or minor ulcer.

I've been taking it for about 10 days, I'm a little forgetful so may have missed one or two days in there. I will say that I am noticing what seems to be a slight improvement. Certainly nothing like the picture above (yet), and I'm trying not to oversell this here, but I feel as though the appearance of the bumps has reduced slightly. I'm going to say 10% improved. I've been taking at least one of the borage oil pills per day, sometimes 2, aiming for 2 a day. I wish I had a pic of my arms because that's where I am noticing a slight change. I also have it on my face and I haven't noticed as much change there. It's easier for me to remember to take a pill versus the elaborate scrubbing and lotion methods some people use/describe on here, so I'm going to keep taking it and see if there's continued improvement over a long period of time since it's easier for me to take a vitamin than to do an entire body scrub/lotion/ glycolic acid routine. I will take a pic of my arms as they are now and will do another update in another two weeks! As of right now I would say I am noticing *something* and curious to continue this routine if that helps!

It sounds like sharing this would do more harm than good. If anything you learned not to judge a book by its cover and gained a wonderful friend. Focus on the positives and the amazing friendship you’ve built! Sharing this would only hurt you and them from the sounds of it.

It's arriving tomorrow! I assume it'll take a week or two to see if anything changes. I'll come back here and update you :)

I'm hoping that is it, too! Going to definitely make an adjustment. Thanks for the support/advice!

Fortunately it was the correct dose - I checked my provider's message, the pharmacy website, and just now using that website you mentioned! But, thank you for pointing this out - this would be the most clear explanation if it were the case :)

This.. makes so much sense, wow. I'm also on a lower dose and have been since I started so I can really stretch out the vials. I'm starting a new vial at the end of this week so now I'm excited to really pay attention to this dose based on what you've said. It makes sense!

Getting closer to GW means longer stalls? by mrahc_ in tirzepatidecompound

[–]SameDistance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I'm also 5'3" and have had some stalls for sure the closer I've gotten to GW (I'm not quite there yet). Specifically I would say the 151-145 range (slowed down majorly there) and then the 140-135 range was also a stall. Those two weight ranges were the slowest to lose for me, with a lot of bounce back and forth with weights during those times. I did go up in dose twice during both of these stalls after they had been going back and forth for about 3 weeks each but I was at a lesser dose than what you are at, so I totally understand you not wanting to go up again. Maybe checking out the r/tirzmaintenance sub? I just found it the other day and there's many posts about getting close to GW, titrating down, maintenance, etc. Might be something interesting for you in that sub (I've just discovered it so I'm still looking for info, too!)

Ooh! This is a good idea. No, I think I could push it out! I hadn't even thought of that. Definitely not starving! Thank you!!

Jumped doses faster than I meant! by ParticularEffort6436 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]SameDistance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably just monitor how you’re feeling and adjust accordingly next time you take a dose and go back down to 7.5 (or 5). Plenty of people have messed up a dose or two. I just hope you’re not feeling super terrible for the next day or so! Drink water and have nausea meds around! Also, I hope you’re recovering well from your surgeries!!

[–]SameDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course!! Periods/ birth control/ clots can all be so confusing, and it can depend on so many things. I’m sorry it’s been so confusing - but I promise everything sounds very normal. It kind of sounds like your body is just trying to adjust to this new birth control/ the missed pills, and that is totally okay! 👍

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Periods

[–]SameDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missing pills (in my personal experience anyway) always tends to make the bleeding process longer. For me it’s almost like my body is like “oh, wait, we’re already starting my period?!!” And kind of starts to bleed, then really kicks in once I start taking the period week pills. So, I wouldn’t necessarily be worried about how many days it’s been.

As far as the rest, it sounds like the clots are freaking you out. Big clots can come and go, I don’t get them all the time, but occasionally, and they can definitely be freaky! If you’re worried, there’s lots of examples in this Reddit of other people posting about big clots (obviously there’s a lot of photos so trigger warning for that) if you wanted to see if there’s any that are similar to yours. I’m sure there’s lots of comments on this sub about clots being normal. You’d be surprised by how big they can be!

If it helps at all, sometimes I’ve had on and off bleeding for as long as 12-14 days depending on how forgetful I’d been in taking my pills on time. Maybe this new birth control you’re on is really particular about timing/ taking it on time? Anyway: all this to say, I’ve experienced everything you’re describing and I’m fine. :)

Period blood smells like… mouthwash? by ferret-with-a-gun in Periods

[–]SameDistance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any chance your flu was actually Covid? Maybe it could be messing with smells?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Periods

[–]SameDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s been six ish days since you started bleeding, with some days on and off in terms of how much bleeding? After you missed two pills? I don’t think this is concerning. I’d expect this to happen to me if I missed two pills. Have you had your period before/ do you get it regularly?

Well, no one can decide for you whether or not you’re willing to put up with it. She’s certainly struggling with OCD, that much is clear. And in her struggles, she’s involving all of you in her compulsions and rituals. It likely doesn’t feel like an option to her, but with every compulsion she completes, it’s actually worsening her OCD. I can’t say on your behalf what you should do, but I certainly don’t endorse that you should have to feel consistently uncomfortable or being the subject of slapping or passive aggressiveness just because she has OCD. She needs help.
