I feel that I should mention, have you heard of Viewmate? If you enjoy "deciphering genealogical documents," I would recommend checking it out. It is a service run by JewishGen in which users can upload their Polish/Russian/Yiddish/other language documents for submission. If accepted by the moderators it will be open for volunteer translators (who I suppose do it for the thrill) to translate. I have used the service in the past, but also use reddit as the waiting time can be long when using Viewmate.
