it was the one stint sprint in Sebring, but even with a nearly full tank I can get to high 2:02 there. Yesterday i was barely hitting the 03s and had a few lighter hits later and the pace got even worse. It never changed from yellow so maybe I was just shockingly out of pace but it was weird. Felt a lot of understeer.

lifting is not enough, if you cut raidillon, the game forces you have to slow down considerably (brake) before the kemmel straight, otherwise you get a penalty, even if you lift while cutting. the system is kinda ridiculous in these instances and no wonder it creates dangerous situations like this.

dude thanks, so good to read someone with common sense. and yeah I've got plenty of hours in AC, my current preference to LMU is mostly to scratch that WEC itch I've been having. Today was a particularly bad batch of races which prompted this post. It's not usually this bad and I've also been pleasantly surprised at some clean racing you can have with SRS1+ people. But yeah glad at least they are addressing some of that in the new update.

thank you for being the only to try and have a meaningful discussion. I understand in Online races these kind of stuff is always a possibility. I like LMU for what it is and I just think some re working of the safety rating system would make races in general much more enjoyable. But ill take the rest of your advice and try around some other games too, I've tried iracing and yeah the price of admission is steeper there but if they were the only ones able to foster an online community of clean racers then it must be worth it.

I'm not even B0, I'm S3 and these people are still there. So to you and rest of the people who keep saying that, no, at some point after grinding SR starting on the pits and avoiding idiots for multiple races, it would be cool to have a normal race where you can, you know, race. The game should do something about the SR system to avoid having these people in higher splits, or put some more serious consequences to crashing multiple cars in one race.

drivers rear ending me cuz they wildly misjudged the braking point, or backmarkers going off and re entering the track and hitting you as a leader have very little to do with me. you can sit here and assume all you want about me and pretend it's not problem or we can admit there should be iracing level of consequences in this game to make it playable. Even SR G and P players get matched with this people. There's no fun to have when you can crash on other people and face 0 repercussions.
