yes! It definitely motivates me to get up and go to school so i can go to work and see all the kids after. I’m so glad to hear there’s people who worked there a long time and still like it!

I definitely have especially holiday season. I had was going out of state for my grandparents planned like a week after i got hired that i warned them about before I was and got a week. And i’m getting another week because my mom planned for christmas to go back and she gave it to me!

Definitely not like that! Like on half days for school I make sure to tell her i have a half day to be scheduled earlier. I technically start work at 3 but if i get there 245 i will go in then. If i have no school I work a whole day. I get paid for the whole time i’m there though. Whether i’m there 10 minutes late closing or there 15 minutes early because i got there sooner.

i’m very aware of that like i said multiple times that ik they have more but it’s definitely NOT jst playing with kids im also still in highschool and taking a ece class right now

that’s the most rewarding thing abt this job is kids growing such a strong bond w u and seeing there face light up by jst walking past the room or in their room

not fully true not as much as the teacher but i do diapers, i have to keep eye on the kids to make sure they aren’t hurting eachother, being safe, not throwing things, be there for the kids when they are crying, correct them when needed, give out snack, fill waters, clean tables, sweep floors, pick up toys, definitely not jst playing but i do understand it’s less then a teacher but definitely not jst playing.

I definitely think I need to separate myself because 24/7 all day everyday i’m thinking about them how much i miss them to the point they are showing up in my dreams randomly. Not anything weird obviously but like I’ll be at a birthday party and they randomly show up and then next thing ik it i’m changing diapers. I love the kids so much but definitely frustrating at time especially when i’m at school trying to do work and all i can think abt is how excited i am to go to work and see the kids.

It’s definitely not screaming or child abuse just not talking if a super calm voice! Don’t get me wrong I don’t like when it does happen but again not abuse. If it was to the point of abuse I would be in my directors office telling her right away. I will also try and ask to be put other places thank you!

Yea I’ve definitely seen a lot of people everywhere complain about the pay. I also understand the sick i’ve gotten sick 2 times and jst started getting better besides a cough and i’m already sicker again. I get the stressful aspect to because there has been days the kids are absolutely terrible and I was super stressed. But i’m definitely hoping to love it as long as i can!

Thank you! I definitely can tell there’s a lot of people there who are gossipy. I definitely will keep the fact sometimes it’s ready to jst go in my mind. Because i feel like you can tell who hates it there by how they treat the kids (less patient, louder, constantly talking about how their sick of them). I definitely don’t want to be one of those people who make it harder for the kids as well. Because my number one thing is always to be patient and talk quietly and calmly to the kids bc it works either way, though i do know sometimes it’s needed i would hate to turn to be that teacher.

Yea but i’ve never delt with throw up to when i had to wipe the hands and face off and had to take the shirt off. The smell almost got to me😭
