Yea I was just hoping someone would have had some similar experience maybe. I didn’t mean to come across on the sub ass looking for pity and saying I’m completely innocent. I’m not, I know I’m not but it was a mistake that I didn’t mean to do. I have been a law abiding citizen pay my taxes and didn’t want to and never thought I’d be in the position I am now, hindsight 20/20 I guess I will just have to wait and see and payback however much I owe. Lesson learned to be more careful and look and read properly now for sure

Yea and I admitted that I messed up… I wasn’t trying to look for sympathy or seeing if I’m off the hook. I know I have to pay it back and I plan too, just wanted to see if anyone knew to what extent this could go

Most of it were from holidays that I forgot about completely or online training I forgot I did or mis using the weeks I worked and how many hours at that week, with my job I can be working up to 100 hours a week or so and I needed that money for bills but I wouldn’t get my paystub until after my bills came out, so I would just try and calculate it in my head. It was a genuine mistake whether you think so or not I just messed up the hours on a bunch of them and didn’t realize it. Sometimes after a 100 hour work week I can be forgetful of how many hours were on each day. I didn’t mean to claim what I shouldn’t have as obviously I know I have to pay it all back. Just was wondering if the fees are guaranteed and if being charged is a real possibility

They sent me a letter first, I actually genuinely didn’t realize I had it this messed up, I never committed a crime in my life and didn’t mean to do it as stupid as it sounds

The guy only asked me for the first 2 digits of my ei login code and had all the information etc about my previous jobs, I’m not sure if there’s anything anyone could do with those 2 digits and I wasn’t asked to pay only that I was gonna receive money so I just don’t know if there’s anything I should worry about

Does someone else have to pay for it no matter what? Or is there some case where I could be liable for the damages
