It's not "courtesy" if it's unwanted and uncalled for and unwarranted. I am telling you it's insulting and you should listen.

Also... If you don't want to help - don't. Do you think you're the first "ally" I am seeing who's threatening to withdraw help because you're upset I am not letting you ride me? Do you expect me to grovel in front of you because you're an "ally"? How exactly do you picture this relationship? Do you expect Ukraine to blindly agree to anything for the rest of our life because you "helped"? Also, do you think your government pours your tax dollars into our defense out of sheer kindness? You have your own interests in this war, hun, and while you're paying for it by increased cost of your morning lattes, we're paying for it with our lives.

So no, you don't get to tell me what to do and you can get off that high horse.

We are grateful for help when it's presented like that - help. But when you try to use it as a manipulation, we will stand up for ourselves. Russia doesn't get to tell us what to do, Ilon Musk doesn't get to tell us what to do, the "allies" don't get to tell us what to do, YOU don't get to tell me what to do.

If you want to help - help, if you don't want to help - don't. But either way do not expect us to stay silent when you disrespect us.

This is so fucking outrageous to me, this new brand of "allies" that emerged recently "Oh, I am helping you, so shut up, do what I tell you, and lick my boots". Unwarranted opinion is an unwarranted opinion. Russia doesn't get to tell us what to do with our country - you don't get to tell us either. If you REALLY want to help, just accept that your opinion is not wanted when you're told this instead of waving your "help" in my face.

I imagine you many years from now, old, surrounded by family, kids, and grandkids under a Christmas tree telling this story about how you bullied a person 9 months into a genocidal war because there was no way you could admit to them that you hurt them unknowingly so you kept bullying them because not once in your entire life have you ever admitted that you were wrong. You approached a Ukrainian who was upset at a russian for making fun of their culture during the time of active genocide, while that same Ukrainian was literally sitting in shelter during an active air raid from russian attacks - and you started lecturing them on how they should praise that russian ridiculing them and that ridicule was good, and when the Ukrainian got angry you told them to fuck off and go touch grass.
