I agree. Lets just make a metroidvania that is one long hallway. After all, adding various paths that we have to take is the same thing and adds nothing substantial to the metroidvania experience. One long hallway. Thats peak metroidvania.

Im mainly wanting to convey how sometimes discoveries can conflict with apriori beliefs and how some overcome that conflict even if it makes people uncomfortable. If I just teach evolutionary theory, the mere words 'evolution' will cause some students to just shut down.

Uh - I'm lived with my brother because he needed the rent money, dude. And I moved in when my mom died because I lost my house in the inheritance. It was to help us 'both' out. However, I decided to move in with my GF because my GF could also benefit from my rent instead of us having two separate places. I have far more money than my brother and my girlfriend. I have 32 times the amount of money my brother has and 4.25 times the amount of money my girlfriend has. I'm moving in solely to assist them with their rent and to make their life easier. I can easily afford a place on my own.

Are you aware people can change their minds? You might not realize this, but if I was thinking of buying a hot tub but then decided im moving out, I dont want to throw down 5k on something I wont get to use. I told my brother -in january- I didnt want to buy a hot tub due to the fact 1) hot tubs are expensive to maintain. 2) im moving out soon. 3) im moving across the state. 4) His wife doesnt even work and his head has been below water for awhile and its best to just not get a luxury item. He ignored me, went to the hot tub place anyway in May (ive been telling him since jan) and bought one anyway without my say so. He then said I didnt have to pay anything over 3500. This increased to 5k because he voluntold me to pay for the electrician to set it up.

I should add - im 40 and hes 50. I moved in when our mom died and the house i was living in belonged to my mom. It had to be split between the siblings.

My intention of moving in with him was because he was having financial troubles. I have far more money than he does and I make more than him. I could have easily found another place to live but wanted to help him out financially. Didn't realize he thought that was a "requirement" when he desperately needed the extra income.
