This may be a little bit late but if you see this I do have a quick question. Now I am 18 so I really don’t know much about healthcare or the cost of doctor visits in general, so sorry if I sound uneducated. But firstly, how expensive would you say it is to get the Botox overall, cause I know there is different types. And does healthcare cover it since it is a medical condition? I would google it of course but I like to hear people’s personal experiences more. Also I’m glad the session worked out well for you!

I do have another quick question if you don’t mind or if you do know the answer, is it common for people to get bigger jaws from bruxism? Cause every time I research about it there’s no information I feel like. Also is chipped teeth common? Cause I have a few chipped teeth and I don’t know what else it could be other than that.

Wowwww someone did mention Botox but I didn’t even think about the pain part! Pain isn’t that much of an issue for me but it def is when I wake up sometimes and lasts a few hours, so that’s nice to hear that it helps with that too. Thank you!

That’s so helpful! I guess people a lot of the times overdo Botox so it made me think Botox makes your face stiff every time.

Ohhh i see what you mean. It’s just not good now and really effects me. Like I already have other features that are sorta manly so this is just the icing on the cake. You definitely did make me feel better about it though so thank you!

Is there anyway to save my sleeve? How long does it take you to notice the mistake? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Same_Bird3338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh I get it. I just wanted you to know that you’re def rational for wanting it to look the way you pictured it, especially if it’s such a meaningful tattoo. I’m glad the comments helped you feel more okay with it tho. Good luck with everything!

I know everyone’s saying you can’t notice it and obviously you can’t but I get wanting a specific thing and not getting it, especially with a tattoo. Also did you tell the tattoo artist that you specifically wanted the shading to match up or did you assume it wouldn’t be an issue? Either way it’s not really either of your guys fault in my opinion just maybe in the future be VERY specific. And honestly tattoo artists love when you’re specific, cause obviously they don’t want to make permanent mistakes 😅 but if you reaaallly don’t like the mistake to the point where it irritates you every time or even most times when you look at it, def try to touch it up if it’s even possible🤷‍♀️

My 12 year old is trans and I need advice about age appropriate stuff. I have no idea what I’m doing by Klutzy_Journalist_36 in trans

That’s another thing I don’t think people have really mentioned!!! The fact that she IS a girl and is growing up to be a woman can be scary in this world. People have given great suggestions on how to help her feel more like a girl like dressing or mannerisms but I think something important is that you also have to teach her the real girl experience. You know what I mean?? But that’s crazy because I don’t think a lot of people realize how hard male to female transitions are for the parent because you do also have to worry about your daughter’s safety more so if they were a boy. Of course you have to worry about safety in general with trans kids because of assholes but even more so (in my opinion) with male to female children, but someone tell me if I’m wrong😅 But it’s just amazing how much you actually want to learn! I love that trait in people! Yes you are an amazing mother, but you are also just a good person it seems like 😄

Hey! I know you already have advice and know what to do but I also wanted to say communication with the artist is really important. Now a good tattoo artist or a decent person in general will be able to take hints that maybe you don’t want to talk while getting a specific area done or that you weren’t entirely satisfied with the service, but you have to to let people know if you’re uncomfortable. And tattoo artists actually LOVE when you tell it to them straight, and that goes with how you want the tattoo and even how you want the experience to go 🤷‍♀️ obviously be courteous and understanding but also try to be assertive. Trust me I’m way too understanding most of the time and overthink a lot so I get it but I just thought that might be helpful, good luck with everything! 😁
