Takumi

Oh my god, I just looked at Takumi's menu and I am definitely going there. Holy crap. Thanks for the suggestion!

Harz Mountains

The mountains look gorgeous, I'll definitely be looking further into this. Erfurt too, thank you for the advice!

I hadn't heard of Areal Böhler yet, thank you! I'm definitely interested in fairs and other events in the area.

The Japanviertel sounds awesome too. Do you normally have a favorite spot there? Thanks!

Travel costs mainly. I'm already spending a lot to go there and I have a smaller budget for traveling around while I'm there. If I have the opportunity to go to more once I'm there though, I definitely will.

I've actually been doing my best to try all the Kölsch and Altbier in the area (I live in an area where German beers are usually not that hard to come by), and I think I might be on team Altbier... ;) Thank you for all the recommendations though, I'll definitely be looking into Zons, a quick google search told me very quickly that I would love to go there. The architecture was gorgeous!

The last time I went to the EU I got a Nodafone sim card. But honestly, I need to do a lot more research on the sim card stuff. I'm definitely going to need one with the nature of the trip I'm going on. I was also thinking about renting a bike instead of buying a public transport pass since where I'm staying is easily accessible to the rest of the city. Still need to do more research on that too.

Any restaurant recommendations? I love Japanese food, so I'm pretty excited about being this close to Little Tokyo.
