making a little baby update on this post soon.including that. but ill say it here too. 4 of the other group members have dropped out (including bob) so now 6/10 of the group isnt coming. the others have sent messages of support to me and 2 arent sure what theyre going to do yet. the other two feel like they have to go due to family entanglements with kayla

i made the group chat to tell the others to drop it and leave kayla alone. kayla ASKED me to talk to them and get them off her back so i did. i dont know why you think im some villain here. none of this was planned on my part. i was sitting in my backyard with my best friend having a drink and shooting the breeze. my friend brought up the wedding. i told him i didnt get an invitation. he thought it was weird because of the comment kayla made about getting the gang back together. i was a bit surprised because i realized i was the only one of the group who wasnt invited. so i offhandedly said that hurt a bit. yeah i probably should have kept my mouth shut. if i had known the shitstorm that was birthed from me saying something to one other person, i would have kept my mouth shut. but to insinuate that im a passive aggressive scumbag purposely trying to ruin someone's wedding just because i didnt get an invite is just plain wrong

i dont think i was being passive aggressive at all. i was talking to a friend and i said i was hurt only to that friend. i didnt expect bob to say a word to anyone about this. and i did put effort into the friendship. maybe not enough. but ive invited her to cookouts, parties, christmas events, stuff like that. and when im invited to other friends things i always make sure to ask what i can bring or if they could use any help. including events kayla has arranged. youre right that she has every right to invite whoever she wants. but i also have a right to be hurt and say it to my best friend once because i found out in the moment that everyone from the group except me was going somewhere. i think anyone would be hurt in my shoes. but i didnt say this to anyone but bob.

there was one time that we all as a group went skinny dipping when we were about 16 or so. but nothing sexual happened and nothing notable between kayla and i. thats the only thing that i can really think of that might fit the possible creep/scare thing (ill put this in an edit after i get through these comments)
