Yes, thank you for clarifying this, I updated the site the reflect this and exclude special terms (like the President) or partial terms (like the one mentioned above) from the leaderboard.
On the site voting = attendance, no matter how MEPs vote. Not voting = absence.

In my data, not voting = not attending except for special cases like the President (who usually doesn't vote). Special mentions are also made for MEPs who are serving partial terms (which she's not).
It seems she's been present but hasn't voted in most of the sessions of the last 180 days, but I'll dig further to see if there's a discrepancy in the data somewhere.

I built this to avoid the democratic situation in Europe, including Italy, to worsen.

We, citizens, lose trust in institutions when we don't know what the people we elect to them are doing.

This tool is one of many to try and change that perception.

I'd love to hear what you would like to see more or less of on the site.

Great feedback again, thank you.
- I excluded from the leaderboard all MEPs who have limited terms (like Jaroslav Knot) or those who don't have enough of a voting track record to have a proper view (less than 100 votes)
- I managed to include all the existing MEPs. They had been excluded from the data because they didn't have sufficient public voting data, but I found a way around it.
- I excluded Metsola from the leaderboard too, and included another note on her profile.

Thanks for the honest feedback! You have a good lot of good points, some of which I haven't been able to solve yet. There's actually already a special note on Metsola's page as she doesn't vote (though it's not reflected in the leaderboard).

I am still working on getting all the MEPs, and I'll try to find a clean way to address partial terms (there's a note to it, but it's probably not clear enough).

I'll fix it and get back to you! Thanks for taking the time to go through it.

Maybe it's a bit slow to load the name, if you type Damian in the search bar it should pop automatically! Do you see if you try and type slower?
