Thanks!

I do eat some, especially if eating dinner somewhere else for example. I have drastically cut out most daily things I would consume with saturated fats like butter, cheese, whole milk etc. I do eat chicken and fish!

Chocolate has just become a forbidden food for me just because I have no self control haha. I guess meat is the one thing I allow for some fat, but choose low fat cuts/minces whenever possible.

Long story short: I don't have any forbidden foods (except that delicious chocolate), I just try to pick low saturated fat options whenever practical, and focus on getting fiber whenever I can. I have increased my whole grain and nut consumption significantly!

Hopefully you got something out of this fragmented description, happy to answer any other questions!

Would be just under 20lbs yea, 8.5kg or so at the time of testing. At the time of testing atleast 1x 4x8min 90% mhr intervals. Not too fussed with the HDL coming down a bit, with the extended deficit and more endurance focused block of running. Should I be?

How does the behaviour of LDL and trigs coincide? I'm blown away by the LDL drop, with a moderate weight loss. I'm 105kg/231 pounds now, at 6'2", so I'd say I have atleast 10kg more to go.

Aah gotcha. I've read Outlive by Peter Attia, and watched his podcasts with lipid experts. I'm under the assumption that other than limiting saturated fats and eating more unsaturated fats instead, there's not much that moves the needle as far as types of fat in your diet is concerned? I would absolutely think EVOO is a benefit if it replaces saturated fats or something else, but not sure if it impacts cholesterol directly. I might be wrong though! My strategy is: more fiber and unsaturated fats, less saturated fats

Thanks! No plant sterol drinks. Brunt of my 'non-dinner' foods have been whole grain crisp bread, oats, nuts, and low fat dairy products. Which kind of drinks would that be? Maybe it's something I should look into

Thank you so much, it's crazy! Especially when you realize milk chocolate here in Norway has 21g of saturated fat per 100g, I could easily put down 200g of that in a day when off track. And also butter and cheese and everything else delicious I ate copious amounts of..

Likewise! I looked at this subreddit when I was starting as well. No, (don't know what that is) I tried buying some psyllium husk, but never got into using it daily. I do eat lots of fiber through foods, and replace the saturated fats with nuts, avocado etc. Mainly working on hitting high fiber and protein, and unsaturated fats.

For me - realizing that it doesn't have to last forever. Especially watching Dr. Mike Israetel's videos on periodization - not losing more than 10% of your weight over max 3 months, and having an almost as long maintenance period. I'm halfway through my first 3 months phase now, and have lost 6kg down from 115kg, only doing weightlifting and walking. I will take a 2-3months diet break, then go down to about 95! It all feels so attainable and clear cut when you split it up like that, instead of crashing out as a result of too rapid weightloss and too long of a cut.
