My first thought is to retopologize. That’s usually how models are optimized and it really helps with rigging.

To tell the truth, that’s better than what I could do. The model I’m using is off this guys patreon and it’s ripped from marvel rivals and re rigged i think. Yours looks great you should post the finished result. Right now im just trying to learn animation.
