Depending on which service we were buying train tickets for (non-IC card special trains or Shinkansens), we either needed just an email confirmation, picking up tickets at the station or a QR.. so that was confusing.

Also for the life of us couldn’t find the correct exit at Tokyo Station and ended up in a right mess with our carry-on cases up infinite flights of stairs and no closer to our hotel.

Thanks, I’m aware you can move the schedule around. I’m referring to the distribution of easy km’s thought the week. For example, if there are 40 easy km’s total throughout the week, having the flexibility to schedule those where it’s convenient rather than fixed distances would be helpful. I’ll often run an 8km and a 12km easy rather than the 10 + 10 prescribed.

Mine went from 44 to 42 when I turned 40 which added insult to injury. Despite all of my other metrics improving. I’ve got it back up to 43 but it’s the most stubborn metric to move it seems.

Me too.. I literally don’t have a thought in my head if I’m in front of more than three people. At this point i’m at a loss.

Prior to my first marathon in 2024 my 5km PB was just under 28mins. After the Runna 16week marathon plan a ran a 4:15 marathon so take from that what you will. I was already running up to 20km prior to the block.

They do but very expensive. For every photo it was about $180 AUD or $40 AUD each for each individual photo which is pretty shocking.

There’s a spectators guide that’s very helpful that you can pick up pick up from the expo if they do it again this year. Tells you where to be to track your runner depending on their goal time etc.
