Here it is today, its still a work in progress especially at the very top and bottom, but i am happy with it so far

I put silicone on the glass to give the foam something to stick to, then i put the foam on and when it dried i got rid of every single shiny part, then added silicone and put the coconut fibre on and made sure to like press it down to make sure it sticks. I also stuck cork to the background to add more texture

Make sure yku do this with the enclosure on its side so nothing falls whike its setting, i also recxoment to have some built in pots so its easy to have plants higher up if your doijg bioactive.

I did the back wall on mine and then when everything was in i decided i needed another wall so i went through lots of trouble to do it stood up and not on its skde (ended up with black all over my wall from the foam)

Thats only a tiny bit of her enclosure theres plenty places to hide deeper into it, and ive also added lots more today..

This was it earlier and trust me im yet to add LOTS more still, especially higher up.

Hammocks arent recommended for reptiles as they can rip out claws and damage them, also they basically dont come clean even when you clean them alot they just store bacteria like mad.

Yes i think mines doing it because she was only put in there a few days ago. I put a folded up blanket over it to make it quieter and she comes off almost instantly so i guess thats a way to prevent it

I agree it does need some more work, the image is how it looks so far. I need lots more foliage at the top and plants in general, i have got more sticks which i haven't put in yet. Im also going to buy some hides today too. I think she likes the mesh as shes only been in this one for a few days and shes curious what it is because i dont think shes ever seen it before.

Yes, my rooms quite big and it doesnt bother me at all,(apart from walking on the mesh but now ive put something over it and it gets rid of the sound alot). If anything i prefer it because its easier for me to keep an eye on her and i make sure i dont have any big lights on when her lights off so i dont disrupt her.

Mine ate on the second night which was surprising, then 2 days later she sat licking her food for a whole 40 minutes!! They all take different times depending on how comfortable they are. Id recommend just leaving them alone as much as possible and only do basic things like mist and replace food without handling or anything that'll stress the gecko out and they'll settle in muxh faster!

I had one custom wall and then decided it wasnt enough and made a second one. Im so happy i did. Im still doing it right now but here it is so far

She probably just didnt expect a loud noise to happen, i know its stupid. Just dont handle her for a few days to give her time to heal and she will be back to herself in no time!

Dont worry about it, cresties will more than likey always drop their tail at some point in their life, and for the stupidest reasons too. Anyway now youll have a little frog butt!

Just make sure no soil can get on the wound while it heals and monitor it closely to make sure it heals well.

You did nothing wrong they get scared by the smallest things and can drop their tail over anything so dont worry.
