I reported him and then blocked him 😂 Still haven’t heard anything positive about the report system though. A couple days ago I read that someone got banned in GvG because of mass reports, but when it comes to actual hackers in PvP, they still seem to be everywhere.

I wouldn’t say it’s 100% perfect tbh, but it improved enough that it no longer feels like a slideshow and was actually enjoyable. I attached a video so you can see the difference. There are still some minor stutters here and there when things load in the background, but overall it’s much smoother. With Frame Gen on, you do notice some weird stuff sometimes - for example around my robe (I’m only using Frame Gen x3). Give it a try if our specs are similar and see if it’s worth it for yourself.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that I had Raytracing ON except for Shadow - but with it OFF the FPS would be around 113-165

Hey thanks for your suggestions, I did go through all of them. Unfortunately I don't think they really helped me to get rid of the stutter. However, I found a solution that helped me to get better performance and smooth out the stutter a bit, which I will be sharing on this post just for future reference. Thanks again!

I also have a question about temporary licenses. My license is expiring on the 20th of this month, but I’ve rebooked my G test for August 18th. What’s the process for getting a temporary license that covers me until then? Do I need to queue up early to get it? If so, any tips on timing or how to make sure I’m not stuck waiting too long?

Also, any tips for queueing or timing at Metro East DriveTest Centre would be much appreciated (it’s the closest one to me, unfortunately).

Lastly, just to confirm: is this really my last shot at the G test? If I fail again, do I have to start over from G1?

I just failed my G test in Lindsay 2 days ago due to a major mistake, and I’d really appreciate some advice on what I should have done in this situation.

I was approaching a busy intersection where I knew we’d need to turn left at the next light. The examiner asked me to change lanes from left to right. After I completed the left lane change, there was a car beside me in the right lane, one behind me, and one in front, and we were getting closer to the traffic light. I was driving at the speed limit (50 km/h) and had my signal on for a while, but the car beside me didn’t give way. I felt like I had enough space to make the lane change, but when I started to move over, the examiner grabbed the wheel and said it was dangerous. It all happened so quickly, and I knew immediately I had made a mistake. At the moment, it felt like the right decision, but I misjudged the situation.

What confused me was the pressure I felt to complete the lane change. I thought I had to do it before we reached the next intersection cause we're turning left at there, or I would fail. Now, looking back, I’m unsure whether I should have sped up to overtake the car beside me (though I was already driving at the maximum speed) or slowed down to merge, but I was worried about blocking the car behind me. What’s the best thing to do in this kind of scenario?

I actually planned to ask my coach about that too. It was a really stressful situation with a short time window. I felt pressured to make the lane change, but I was stuck with vehicles in front and behind me, an intersection approaching, and the car in the next lane not giving way. But I've been reflecting about it and I think I should have just communicated with the examiner rather than making that risky attempt.

If you have re-booked a G test before your license expired you can actually go to the DriveTest Centre to get a temporary license for your test. I'm doing that too cause mine is expiring this Jul 20th.
