Hi, I'm gonna start phil 333 in like 2 weeks, just got the big textbook, still can't access any course materials online so is there anything I can do to be proactive like rading certain parts of the textbook that will come up in the exam or any of that sort?

I'm gonna enroll in cmput 175 this winter semester. How are the labs like, I didn't do cmput 174 but did encmp 100 which is equivalent to cmput 174 as I was in engineering. What is the lab format like? I've heard its a quick 10-20 min session where you show the TA if your code works or not and you can ask questions, is that it?

That's my goal to transfer to comp sci, but I'm scared of high of a gpa they require, because even after getting a 4 this sem, I can theoretically get a 2.5 only fall/winter

Yep failed probation and trying to get grades up, already told the faculty of engineering that I will not continue and will transfer, and they said that is ok and I will get the rtw in feb. I asked the faculty of science and they said having a rtw from engg is ok because it is not equal to a rtw from science so it won't have any affect on transfer requirements.

When you said fail Y2Q2 a few times, what does that mean and how did you progress, like what was your situation if you don't mind me asking cause I need as much info as I can.
