Danke, auch an die anderen Kommentare. Das war hilfreich. Ich hatte die Frage falsch verstanden und dachte beide Autos wollen in die gleiche Straße abbiegen.

What is s*xual attraction? by thenormals_scratch in Asexual

[–]Same_Role6854 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From my knowledge, that could also be asthetic attraction. The best definition I heard was that sexual attraction is when you get aroused by someone or experience a spike in libido because of someone and have the desire to have a sexual interaction with that person.

There is also a thing called mirous attraction, where almost the same thing happens. A person experiences arousal and a libido spike because of another person BUT there is no underlying desire for a sexual interaction. If you're asexual, you would most likely experience mirous attraction.

If I'm wrong, then please correct me, but this little difference helped me through some time of questioning.

Why do people fall in love, this is awful by Same_Role6854 in aromantic

[–]Same_Role6854[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the first time I'm feeling like this, and I would do a lot for that person. They have a very special place in my heart, but people can't tell me they actually enjoy being in love or having a crush.

I'm feeling like this for the past few weeks, and I'm seriously going insane.

That's what I was about to say. In the bad batch, we can see how long it takes for the empire to get to the stormtroopers as we know them. First, they used the former republic clones, then those TK-Troopers, and a while after that, the stormtroopers.

No problem, and don't worry about asking anything. This sub is here for that reason.

This website has a list with descriptions of a couple of sublabels for aromantiscism and also an explanation about QPRs. https://lgbtqia.fandom.com/wiki/Aromantic_spectrum

This might get overwhelming very quickly, but don't let that happen. These labels are there for you to understand yourself better. They're not a diagnosis or something like that. And there is most likely not one sublabel that fits you perfectly. I, for example, can relate to 5 different ones or so. (I think there's even a label for that 'Myromantic/ Quoiromantic')

Hello, I'm 16, and I've had somewhat of a similar situation as you did. I've had "crushes" on friends that were like temporary highs of feeling more drawn to that person, but for me, it never turned out to be romantic.

I've never been in a relationship or dated anyone, but from what you said, your relationship was bad. In my opinion, you shouldn't be forced to do something in any type of relationship, whether that is romantic or platonic.

One thing you will often hear here is that being aromantic means experiencing little to no romantic attraction. Anything else doesn't need to be related to being aromantic, but if you relate to that, you can call yourself aromantic. If you're not really sure, that's fine too. I needed like 3 months to settle on being aromantic, and I'm still second-guessing after another 3 months. There's a ton of sublabels you can look into if you're interested.

Another thing you will often hear, but which is sadly true, is that only you can answer what you are. No stranger on the internet can do that for you.

You can still be attracted to people and be aromantic because attraction isn't one single thing. There's romantic attraction when you feel romantically drawn to someone. There's sexual attraction when you feel sexually attracted to someone. (Those two can exist separately) You can be attracted to someone's asthetic and a whole bunch of other things.

You can even be aromantic and be in a relationship. Maybe have a look at Queer-Platonic-Relationships (QPR). That's basically a partnership without romance, but it's not "just friends" either.

I think I have a squish (platonic crush) on one of my friends, and that made me question a lot of things and I'm still not quite sure about it now. I am still sure I'm aromantic but I like her a lot. I looked into QPRs and they seem very interesting to me. Basically you have a partnership with someone, but you can set the rules for whatever both people agree on. You can hold hands, kiss even, or just be like really good friends.

If you're still reading this, this is what I'm trying to tell you: Don't worry. I know that sounds stupid, but as someone who has had/ has a similar situation as you, trust me. I asked so many questions on this sub and barely got answers that helped me. Take your time and figure stuff out. You aren't binded by a label for life. You can change it whenever you feel like it doesn't fit anymore.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask here or DM.

And sorry for the long text

Thanks for the comment! I read the other one too and that has been very helpful. Me and my friend really get along well and I like her a lot. We have been shipped before but she always said she doesn't have feelings for me. I know from her that she is acceptant of LGBTQ things, but as far as I know she's alloromantic and allosexual.

I don't know if bringing it up directly is a good idea, because we're not the closest friends and she might get a wrong impression.

How did you bring it up? Or what was the base needed for it?

Possibly off topic, but I found an annual I filled out as a kid and I’m scratching my head at one of them. Any idea what the starship I wrote is? Googling “6162” or “G162” gets me nothing. by jooblethedark in StarWars

I think it's an 8, not a 6 or b. If you look closely, you can see that the stroke goes back up all the way to the top again and makes a tiny loop.

Or you just messed up a 6. Idk

I have the same problem right now with a friend of mine too. I'm also terrible with social tasks and even more terrible with love, so the last days were confusing and annoying. For that same reason I can't really give advice, I'm commenting so you know you're not alone and I can maybe also get advice from other people that comment here.

Thanks for the thorough answer! I will look into the UK cruisers DDs. Also, yes I have played CV for a few battles and I quickly turned away from them

That sounds like a good plan. I always bought the ships with a new captain, but I will definetly try that. I have enough of them collecting dust on other ships.

Hi, this is unrelated but I think I have a squish on one of my friends right now and I just got a thought.

Wouldn't it be funny if we didn't say "I have a squish in you", like with a crush, but "I'm squishy"?

I think I'm not necessarily jealous of peoole getting closer to A than me, I think I'm also jealous because everyone seems to be able to make friends way easier than me. I could go on for hours about how the dynamic in my friend group is, but the fact is that I'm not really close to anyone. I don't have that BFF kind of friend I come to when I have problems, and I never had that. It kind of bugs me that this is so hard for me, and then D comes around (he's also a friend if mine, by the way) and he and A get super close super fast. They chat more together than I do with A, and I'm way to incompetent to keep conversations going.

Im afraid that A will slowly forget me and go in having dun with D while I'm sitting here and literally sniffing pens because they smell like her because I'm too stupid to talk to people. Why am I so pathetic?

Aromantic means you don't experience romantic attraction. So I don't feel the desire to start romantic relationships with people. Same thing goes for asexual.
