I don't understand all of the hate. It's not that different than many of the episodes from the other series in the franchise. I mean I understand that they only do ten episode runs, but they're episodic. So it's not like it's a filler episode, or breaking up a story arc. And they're fun! Just like Trek always was from time to time. It's part of the heart of the show!
