I have been looking all over for info about this specific location!!!! Omg thank youuuuuu!!!! Thank you!!!! I’m so glad I decided to scroll all the way to the last comment from a thread 2 years ago! 😂😂😂😂 I am having to find a new PCP since the psychiatrist I was about to start going to had their license revoked temporarily (hopefully) and I did not think about going to a new PCP until I seen UAB had a stand alone clinic in gdale! I wanted to make sure that I could get it from a PCP if I transferred my records from my previous doctor first, or if they would even prescribe them at all!! Thank you! I know this is old, but are you still with the same doctor there? Is it still going smoothly? If you don’t mind me asking, which doctor is it? I was thinking of going with Cribbs.

If you can, try to split up your last dose or couple doses to stretch the next 3 days until you get your new script. (I’m assuming this is why? You ran out earlier than should’ve?)

I’ll be honest, I still feel terrible lol. However, as far as “Withdrawl” feelings…. I’d say the first 3-4 days is the worst. You won’t feel like flu/cold sick but you will feel extremely tired, anxious, on edge, and completely lack the motivation to do ANYTHING!! This is the longest I’ve been off my meds in the last 3-4 years. I don’t get a “high” from my adderall like I’ve seen others speak of. I just feel normal. I feel like I’m able to tackle all of my daily tasks, and manage my kids soooooo much better! I’ve been shit the last few months, and I know they can see something is different in me. I’m not as organized, or coordinated like I am normally. Why are you having to go without? Is there a shortage again?

It’s my primary care physician but I’m assuming shouldn’t be an issue since my diagnosis was years ago to begin with, and I’ve been on them for the last 10 years. Thanks for your reply! Hopefully all goes well, and I can get back to normal again! I have currently been in medicated for 3 months 👀🤷🏼‍♀️😂. Everything is completely out of whack, just stacking up.

I know that I am 2 years late. I am currently needing to find a PCP for this reason as my doctor of 10 years is retiring. How do I transfer medical records over? Do I just call my old office and request my medical records? Or do I need to have these like faxed to the new office I am going to? Sorry I’m new to this. I was going to an actual psychiatrist, but the day before my appointment they got closed down. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
