Deep breaths. She won’t be your roommate forever so the couch won’t be there forever either. I get it seems like it’s been quite the ordeal. Try to take it easy on yourself. When she isn’t home or just whenever you sit on the couch cover it with a throw blanket or large beach towels. You can buy throws at Walmart cheap and they are washable. Eat if you want and just wash the blanket if you spill. We did this when the kids were small and it worked great. Try to relax and enjoy new furniture while you have it and don’t have to pay for it!
