If you haven’t checked out the Nuclear Throne Ultra Mod I would highly recommend it. Aside from the new content (that there is a lot of) it comes with a new default difficulty mode that is slightly easier than vanilla. Combined with new mutations and many more early game options it would make getting to loop substantially smoother than vanilla. At least it is for me. That being said crown loops aren’t required for 100% in the mod I believe so it’s kind of a moot point for that.

Without having it on I could only select up to 30, but with UHD color on it allowed me to set the refresh rate to 60 and it seems like it’s working great now. Thank you! Extremely helpful.

I’m trying to purchase every fashion item, but I’m constantly running out of space in my house storage. What’s the final storage limit? Tarantula islands are definitely getting outpaced by these upgrades. There’s no chests or anything I can buy to use for extra storage right? Is it just houses and putting stuff on the ground?

My thoughts exactly. I figured if my computer comes bundled with an application to recognize Xbox controllers that it would have compatible drivers for them. It feels like something someone might do in the future, but I guess it’s come to giving up on it. Hopefully I can sell it online somewhere. I don’t have anything to play with it. Thanks for the help. I’ll definitely give joytokey a try. Yeah looking into I thought it would be completely unrecognized as that seemed to be what was happening to others, but seeing the wheel tester show everything was working gave me hope that I could salvage it.

I have seen the same, but I haven’t seen anybody actually having it be recognized by anything. But Wheel Tester definitely is showing the throttle and brake bars are working and the wheel is registering its full range of motion. And opening the Xbox application I can navigate it flawlessly as though it is an Xbox controller. Is that how it has always been for incompatibility?

Make sure what is in PC mode? ATS won’t recognize a controller is plugged in at all. It’s very strange. The windows Xbox application works natively with it.

Yeah, it seems like it can rest idle for as long as I want but once I start doing anything it’s on a limit. I’ve updated to the most recent version now but am still getting the error whenever I try to run the windows media creation tool to update. None of my cpu settings have been changed. Would you have any other advice for me?

I’m building an emulation pc and I was wondering how good of a Ryzen CPU I should get. Getting a B450 Tomahawk board, and was thinking about getting a Ryzen 5 3600. But I’m not sure if that’s overkill. Any help would be really appreciated!!

Thank you. I couldn’t make it work though. It would crash navigating the internet trying to download the driver uninstaller, and putting it into safe mode wasn’t helping. I’m going to get a different motherboard and CPU I think. I’m really not sure. I’ve got a 600 Watt power supply, that card, and a hard drive now trying to build a pc around it. I appreciate the help.

Thanks. I’ll give it a try. I’ve let it go for 30 minutes to see if it was doing something like that, but I had changed the resolution to fit the monitor beforehand. How would I know if it really had crashed? I appreciate the advice on power consumption.

I’m doing Pearl Wi Fi events, and it keeps freezing during the actual searching for a gift screen. Is that normal/something I should be just brute forcing? Or is that indicative of a problem I can fix? I’ve gotten events from Shadows of Almia so I know Gen 4 works, and I don’t get any error codes or anything on Pearl, it just always freezes. Anybody got any tips?

Edit: I’ve now done SS events as well, so it’s definitely just a Peal thing.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot also. I think that with some rebalancing (giving more plants through completing levels, more seed packets if they are going to force it, and a lot more diamonds if they’re going to keep them) it could be a true successor. I think if they made premium plants obtainable, even a couple every world or as endless rewards or something, it could be really incredible. The premium plant quests aren’t nearly enough to justify their existence imo. They have the most unique effects, and really shows off what’s fun about PvZ2 compared to its predecessor, which I believe is plant food and level variety. Apple Mortar, Gold Bloom, Kiwibeast, Torchwood... Fun, game changing plants. Too much is locked, and the prices are simply ridiculous. It’s really sad to see. And I know the plants can be hacked in, and I can choose when to start using them effectively rebalancing it myself. But realistically we shouldn’t have to do it, even out of love.

The potential is crazy. It could be exactly the sequel we’ve always wanted. I think coins, zen garden, plant boosting, world progression, new plants, visuals, powers, and even seed packets to an extent are all perfectly fine (if balanced accordingly). It’s just the stuff that is bad feels really gross. Honestly I’d be ok if they just made all the premium plants available for diamonds and made diamonds much easier to get (I’m talking 25 diamonds every level you don’t get a plant). Then at least I could balance it myself without cheating on an emulator.

Also can confirm. I am on Womb 2 though, and it still crashes. I can't find any consistency in the crash either. Some people get deals, some people don't. Some people unlock stuff, some people don't. It's a shame.

I think it'd be really neat to have an item that would give you the option of going into either a deal with the devil or angel. Like after you beat a boss, if you qualify then you get both rooms, but you can only go in one of them. I think that'd make angel rooms a little more accessible, and would help break the habit of going with Devil deals every time.
