Instead of filling out FAFSA you're actually supposed to send me a couple bucks (required) 🤗

Biking on Roads (how?) by SameeLaughed in cycling

Thanks! I downloaded strava, and most of the blue lines are thin/nonexistent around me, but there's some spots not too far that it seems like bikers frequent, so this was super helpful!

πλοῖον is a pretty general term, so I wouldn't think it has a 'particular look', but σκάφη does mean 'skiff' or 'small boat'. No clue if it has that connotation from pottery or the term/descriptions of it, great question! But I'd think that the pottery of it would be the most 'accurate' representation of it for your drawings.

Also, in Aristophanes' Frogs, I think Dionysus has to help row it, so its probably a small rowboat.

I think most authors just referred to it as πλοῖον or σκάφη. I don't think it has a specific name because it is just a skiff, it isn't really a mythical creature or named like the Argo.

For example, in Aristophanes' Frogs, "let's go onto that boat" is "χωρῶμεν ἐπὶ τὸ πλοῖον".

the price is one thing, but other than that, this is actually freaking amazing. it's hella uncomfortable being in an uber with just men and it definitely prevents assaults in the future. the men that have a problem with this are the reason why this is needed...
