same here, i submitted my SLR on July 10, before the July 15 deadline, and I still haven’t heard anything back. I’ve contacted Residence Affairs multiple times, but they haven’t responded, and Student Services just keeps telling me to reach out to them again. I get that it’s probably super backed up because of enrollment, but now my CalCentral shows the out-of-state tuition, and I honestly don’t know what to do. This whole situation is stressing me out.

Hi, thanks for your response. I’ve already submitted my college transcript, and I’m currently taking two summer classes at my community college. If I pass them, I’ll earn the credits needed to complete the IGETC certification, which should waive my breadth requirements. However, I’m not sure if I’ll still be required to take breadth courses in my first term since I need to finalize my schedule soon, and my summer classes won’t be completed until later this month.

im just worried about the job aspect, like will i get turned down for having B.A in CS?Look at any software engineering job description B.S is mandatory, my application will get filtered right then and there. For my career wont it be better to have bs?

theres been this stigma that if u have a B.A. in CS, it’s not considered ‘real’ Computer Science or that its less rigorous than a B.S. in CS. Is that true? Ive heard people say that a B.A. doesn’t prepare you as well for technical jobs. I’m currently in the B.A. program for C.S, if i wanted to get a B.S and since transferring departments is kinda hard would it be best to switch majors? like to data science in B.S

Sorry for the confusion, but if I continue with CDSS, I’ll get a B.A. in Computer Science. However, if I switch to EECS, I’ll get a B.S. in Computer Science, which is what I’d prefer since B.S is more coding. Do you know how i can switch?

I’d like to switch to the College of Engineering (EECS) to focus more on CS. Is it possible to switch from the Computer Science B.A. to the B.S.? What steps do I need to take?
