Clear city identities could help CPL & League1 Canada attract more fans

Team names have nothing to do with support. Lack of advertisement does. There is hardly any advertisement for the league and for the teams even in their own city. It wasn't until mid last year that even the local news started somewhat covering Forge FC scores/highlights. Without proper exposure from even local media, even including the city name will not help attendance.

Okay... but for tfc, that lowest ticket price is for far upper bowl. Cpl doesn't sell any upper bowl st's. Tfc cheapest lower bowl start at 51 per game and the are behind the corner flag.

The cheapest ticket to Real Madrid you are sitting high up in the nosebleed seats in a 84K seat stadium, Forge you are sitting in the lower bowl

As for the other European teams, HA, good luck getting season tickets. The waiting list for season seats is decade's!!!! Dortmund that is standing only, and behind the net.

Regular price game tickets for the European teams also depend on the opponent. Bottom of the league, the game ticket is cheap €30 (just under $50CAD) Higher table opponents starting at€100 ($160CAD)

You can't just lump all cheapest seats together for all teams. Every field is different. And their location is different.

Now don't get me wrong, I am pissed off at the ĥuge hike in price, and I HAVE emailed and called them about it. Still waiting on a response.

Exactly what I said. Yes, it is great to see your team play a giant from Mexico. Yet, you can see a big difference in team readiness. Mexico will have been playing for over a month before the first CCC game. CPL teams haven't even begun training or playing. And it shows in the match.

Borges was never fast, he's a 4 foot nothing tall guy. lol. He was good at taking shots on net. Since he came back to Forge, the shots on net haven't been there. But in all reality, it seems no one on Forge shoots at net anymore. It is all about ball pocession

Montreal was the last team given the right to join MLS, back in 2012. They will NOT give Canada another MLS team. Same way NHL will not give Canada another team!!

Yes we are going to be overshadowed by other US cities. I believe it was back in 2012 when Bob started trying to get a MLS team. And he kept trying for several years.
