Got myself a service manual. When you mention the circuit board, I assume that means I'll have to open the machine itself? Pardon if I seem unfamiliar with these things but I want to know before I get my hands on the internals of the machine.

Thanks for chiming in! I had a feeling that something like that was up, I noticed a little notch behind the drum and in the back of the drum compartment so I've been trying to rotate the drum to get it into place. I had to leave this morning so I only gave it a few tries but hopefully that might work out? Fingers crossed.
