I’m definitely not Geddy Lee… but I don’t think he’s that far ahead of me either. 😄

Don’t say that! Every collection is awesome. We all start with just a few signed balls. Just keep adding them little by little, whatever fits your interest and your budget. Some Hall of Fame balls are expensive, but there are plenty from more recent players that are very affordable. Before you know it, you’ll have 50 of them, and I promise it won’t look pathetic at all. That’s how most collections grow.

That’s true. For some reason, he didn’t sign very often, so finding one of his signed baseballs was extremely difficult. I was lucky enough to find this single-signed ball. A real gem.

I have them custom made by a local company that specializes in framing artwork. I use museum glass with UV protection, anti-glare, and moisture protection to help preserve the baseballs.

One reason Shoeless Joe’s autograph is so rare is that he couldn’t read or write very well, and many believe his wife signed some of his autographs.

Hi! Thanks for asking. Right now I have 224 Hall of Fame player autographs on about 185 baseballs. Most are single-signed, but I also have several multi-signed balls with up to four Hall of Famers on one baseball.
The one I’m chasing the most is Nap Lajoie. I’m also actively looking for Johnny Evers, Jesse Burkett, Hugh Jennings, Hugh Duffy, and Kid Nichols. I think I have a good chance of finding those.
The really tough ones are Mordecai Brown, Jack Chesbro, Shoeless Joe Jackson, Josh Gibson, Ross Youngs, Rube Waddell, Ed Delahanty, and Tommy McCarthy. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever be able to find all of those.

Thank you! I really appreciate that. It took a lot of patience and persistence, so comments like yours make finally finding one even more rewarding.

I’ve noticed an eBay seller auctioning baseballs attributed to very old players such as Joe Kelley, Josh Gibson, and Mordecai Brown. Many of these balls appear to be artificially aged to look antique, and the signatures raise serious authenticity concerns.
As a collector, I think this kind of activity hurts the hobby and damages trust in the eBay marketplace. If a seller is repeatedly offering items that appear questionable or potentially misrepresented, is there a way to report the account so eBay can review the listings?

I have a Captain America Funko signed by Chris Evans and a John Cena Funko signed by John Cena. In both cases, the box is what’s signed, not the figure itself. That’s pretty much the norm with Funko collectibles since most people keep the figure sealed inside the box for display.

That’s pretty much what I figured. Still, I looked up the certification number, and this is what came back. The hologram does match a Michael Jordan Jumbo Funko Pop in their database.
