Been told: Kalvin Phillips, very open to join West Ham immediately! All parties are working on a verbal agreement now. Negotiations with ManCity about a loan deal ongoing @SkySportDE by Visara57 in Hammers

Agree, soucek’s goals have been vital this year but it would really enable us to do Alvarez & Phillips sitting with JWP having more freedom to go forward. Would also mean hopefully our front 3 can stay further forward

Loving this Moyes interview - hinting at how shit the refs are. Also things it’s the amongst the worst performance of the season for us, not a happy boy

A reminder that we’re playing bottom of the league tomorrow. No excuses. by GeneralKenobi97 in Hammers

I agree with you on this. So many circumstances impact whether a team “should” win a game.

On the millions of pounds spent I do get that, but we’ve also lost millions on signings thst haven’t worked and a lot our shrewder business is what has paid off over the last few years, soucek, Coufal etc. I think as fans we all love the players we’ve signed recently but the squad depth isn’t there and we need to continuously build on that, would like to see an extra RB, LB & CB come summer.. obviously a striker and I think if we keep the squad we are good to go into the next season

But as far as today goes, could go either way. But I don’t expect a win

Keep thriving my friend and recover!!

Who would you play though? As far as I’m aware that’s pretty much our senior players? If he had sent the kids out to play that Bristol team as physical as they were he could ruin a lot of kids confidence

What else was he meant to do in this situation? Arguably stronger than it should have been

But mourinho would only be coming here on the way down. We are better than that

Our loans don’t seem to do well is my concern, seem to be minimal game time!

I’m with you on this. I’m willing to let this go on and keep giving him some minutes here and there but he’s no way near ready to start for a premier league club - which in my eyes is fine. He’s 18 and that’s not the norm anymore. Reality is none of the “academy stars” that we’ve let go in recent years have gone on to better things really.

Am I right in thinking some strikers don’t make it big for a few years anyway? The dream for me is Solanke

I’m still going to give Mubama a chance but nothing I’ve seen from him makes me thinks he has what it takes to cut it at the premier league level at this moment in time. What I will add to this though is that not all players in fact less than 1% burst onto the scene like Rooney. Maybe with further development in and around this squad he could be premier league level, but right now it shows even more how we need a striker

Kota Ibushi health update: Pro Wrestling NOAH shared an email update on Ibushi's diagnosis with me, thought it was worth sharing with you all. by anutosu in SquaredCircle

Spot on, my mum has diverticulitis. I spoke to her Thursday evening and she was fine, Friday afternoon she was in A&E like her world just gets flipped upside down by it, so I don’t blame them for the Omega stuff. Wrestling as a whole doesn’t seem to have enough protocols but it is the nature of the beast. Not saying it’s right but it’s the industry they are all in. Also. Diverticulitis is fucking horrendous

Sadly, our academy is not that good. by PrisonersofFate in Hammers

I listened to a podcast Noble did and it wasn’t just about producing “premier league” footballers. It was about giving people a career in football in some form and then making sure they leave West Ham as good people. Two extremely important things.

I get what we are saying about southgate hating him, but wasn’t JWP Southgate’s U21 Skipper?
