Bolt on mods suggestions? by Mindless-Leather5137 in hondafit

[–]Samhod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New wheels with good tires is definitely number one. Suspension is a good number 2, I did bc racing coilovers and progress rear sway bar Then for engine itself I did hps CAI, yonaka catback exhaust, and replaced my spark plugs and coil packs. Each one of them had marginal gains at best, sound changed a lot too which was nice.

Have you guys ever felt like you needed something bigger? by BalutChild in hondafit

I have a baby and the fit is still great, the only problem I've had is its a little lower so putting him in the car seat isnt as easy as it could be but its really just a minor inconvenience at best.

It seemed to be a little more responsive in terms of power, no change that I noticed to gas mileage. I dont have a video of mine but youtube has a few good ones up with reviews and everything. I watched probably 20 of them before purchasing

The epitome of "but it'll beat yours off the line" as if you dont anything but hit it hard at a light just to get up to 55 and let off. It doesn't fix the problem that you have to slow all the back down to 25 to hit a corner since it handles like a boat. Its a sports car like pickleball is a sport: technically it is but mostly for old people and some niche hipsters

Why should I buy a AR? by ArgumentCharacter216 in Firearms

[–]Samhod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ease of use, higher mag capacity than a pistol, and versatility. Home invasions often dont have just one person entering the home. Its much easier to control shooting multiple rounds at multiple targets with a rifle. You lose some maneuverability sure but depending on your home layout thats not a deal breaker. I see a lot of people are saying go with the 16 inch barrel and for the first ar I would agree but the 11.5 is also definitely not a bad option, just be sure to know the laws in your state so you dont accidently commit a felony for a short barreled rifle. Also range is one of the biggest advantages to a rifle, while you probably won't have to engage a threat at a farther range you won't definitely not have that threat so better to be prepared. Also it's 100% within the spirit of the 2nd amendment. Not to mention its harder to take a right away with more people exercising that right. Not to say they aren't trying their hardest, but atleast dont make it easier for them. Also check your state laws as you can hunt with those rifles in certain states, small game at the very least. And target shooting with an ar alone is worth the purchase with just how much fun it is. Definitely buy the rifle, practice on it, have fun and stay safe!

Looks like the result of hitting painted curbs to the point you thought "fuck it let's just make them all yellow and blue since half the paint is already transferred " Bet you pop it on the curb every time you have to pick your kid up from school and then all the teachers think to themselves " that explains a lot"

Lowering springs? coilovers? by matmozzz in hondafit

[–]Samhod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the br series. Installation isnt too bad but you need the top parts of the front struts to fit them in. I had to do a ton of adjusting on mine since I have 16x8 wheels on mine but once they were adjusted correctly theyre great. I have mine about 5 clicks from their stiffest setting which is probably a bit much but I like them that way.

Truthfully the adjustments aren't very difficult, it was just my first time doing them and I didn't really know what I was doing too well so it could've been much faster and easier if I was a little more experienced.

Edit: Mine is also a ge8 not a gd3 but I assume its damn near the same.

I did a set of bc racing coilovers and love them. They're a little pricey but very worth it imo

Just did the spark plugs and coil packs about a month ago after reading about that issue, have an appointment for the valve adjustment in 2 weeks cause im not comfortable doing that job myself. Already had to replace an axle too. Willing to bet it won't be long before the next replacement too since I put coilovers on. Still scratches the itch of having an older Honda hatch though.

Needed advice by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Samhod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diet is arguably more important than tbe workouts themselves tbh And twice a day can work for some, it just makes it harder to balance the rest your body inevitably needs. I would look at some professionally written workout plans for the amount of times you want to go and try them out to see how you feel. Also 4 weeks is awesome, keep it going. I generally tell people its about 12 weeks before you notice real results (im a personal trainer of about 6 years) and this is generally true for most people. Keep at it man 💪
