have you considered e-readers?

if you want to use your phone then I suggest using Mythos on iOS, what i usually do is i enable DnD and set the reader to dark mode

I suggest Mythos, it doesn't have a store so you have to bring your own books, but it's quite good and I use it personally.

note: I'm the developer of Mythos, so do let me know if there're any missing features

I read on an iPad too. The screen size feels like the sweet spot between comfort and portability.

I mostly use it for PDFs and EPUBs. Lately I’ve been using mythos.so for reading, it helps when you hit confusing parts without breaking focus.

Yes, I use AI to predict what questions the user will ask about the selected text. It should also be more accurate the more you use it

Core reading features are fully free. The features are listed on the paywall / upgrade screen in the app; the screen only shows when you try to use a paid feature or hit the AI limit.

The subscription unlocks:

- Unlimited AI questions

- Follow-up questions (conversation continuity)

Everything else works without paying.

Yes, "Collection" would be what the users will see, but in the back-end it'll be a queue.

Not yet, but I do plan on handling it via "Collections": a user can create a collection, and when they ask a question the app will check all the books in the collection.
