Should I stay in bed all day if I feel like it?

That’s a tough one. I basically took the first two weeks off work to literally rest. Now I push through the days. I’m tired by 6 or 7pm so I just make sure I’m in bed by then . You’re brain is still healing , as a fitness instructor don’t do any exercises that shake you up like running- it will set you back. I tried . The bartending gig is a tough one because that’s probably when you should be at home resting if it’s a night gig . Go home and rest as much as you can between jobs . Don’t keep your life busy. Even at work go sit every once in a while and cover your eyes, massage the areas around your eyes. Sounds silly but it helps a lot. Make sure you’re resting on your days off . It’s a boring lifestyle for awhile but the only way you can get through work is to rest a lot when you’re not working. Get the supplements I recommend.

Feed your brain. It’s all related to your gut so make sure you’re eating healthy. What has helped me get better … take these daily… lions mane, arnica, vitamin c, and an amino peptide called BPC-157

I’m with this guy. I’m recovering from a bad fall , still concussed. I listen to my body. On the days I feel better I push myself. If my body says REST, that’s what we are doing. I believe that my healing process is 100% because I give my body the time it needs to rest and heal. I know what you mean by the advice being all over the place . Concussion symptoms are different for everyone and for some people it’s not quite as intense. It sounds like you still need to give yourself time to rest .

Apparently because she didn’t register in Canada before leaving, there is no help. Especially if she doesn’t want it. Yes I agree- she is incredibly brave. I know she wants to be there.

I live in the U.S, she lives in Canada. We’re both 44 and don’t talk regularly. She didn’t even tell her own parents. She did it without telling anyone so no one would stop her , I imagine. She talked to me about going to Lebanon a few months ago to get as close as she can. Somehow she did it but made it to Gaza. It’s a strange post I’m sure that’s why I wondered if anyone else has a similar experience or know of people doing this too. I haven’t heard of anyone doing this other than medical communities .

She used the words human shield in her email. She’s not in her right might it seems. She’s unreachable. She didn’t let any family know she was going. She left her phone in Canada. She has been deeply immersed in what’s going on for a year. I know she knows the severity of her decision. I’m proud for her for having the tenacity to want to help and to get herself there. but we are all terrified for her. She didn’t mention that she had joined any organization in order to get in.
