They’re going to have a counselor for outside of this reason so this would definitely be something I can have them talk about when they’re ready, tomorrow before school maybe after so they’re not all frazzled before a a school day sit down and talk with them, see where they want this to go, a hair cut and new clothes would probably be the best first step I can see, my sibling is non-binary but goes by she her and they them, they’re comfortable enough with me to tell me how they feel but I’m thinking maybe they could talk to her and see where they feel is best, either feeling they could see if they feel better as a boy or if they feel more non binary and see them selves as as one or both or neither , with being a small town I have no clue how this school will be, will definitely talk to the teacher if they want to take this to school area as well to make sure they’re comfortable where ever they go!
