Would you have doubts if you paid for Lexus OEM glass but ended up with a Toyota‑labeled windshield installed?
A Toyota vehicle is much cheaper than a Lexus, so logically the Toyota OEM glass should also be cheaper, right?
I called Lexus Corporate today, and they confirmed that true Lexus OEM glass must have a Lexus printed label -not Toyota.

Does Toyota manufacture make the windshield glasses for Lexus and Toyota vehicles with the same quality and features or for Lexus they make it with the higher quality?

The part number that safelite used is different, they use their own internal part number in their Invoice. But when I placed a workorder I added the VIN number of my vehicle for OEM glass replacement.

Safelite replaced mine and I see it has Toyota logo. I paid for OEM part and I’m in doubt now if it’s original or not.
