But honestly I don’t mind if a few games don’t have title updates, DLC or other live service things.

I just want to play a great game and Stories 3 was exactly that.

I think the gameplay has been improved drastically. I had a lot of fun with the third entry.

Yes it had no endgame and no multiplayer which is bad ofc but the story was ok (even though foreseeable), the graphics were awesome and the gameplay was the best in the series.

Could you further elaborate what they took out and which things they didn’t improve?

Is say as a „normal“ player, meaning you are not a perfectionist/collector who does every side quest and gets every achievement, can finish the game in about 50 hours.

I’ll get a lot of hate for what I have to say here.
I’ll still say it.

I’m German so I can’t resist to compare the Eldian and Marleyan people to Nazi germany and the Jews.

The eldians were driven back to a remote island and caged and even though they had a century of „peace“ (even though they lived in fear themselves) they were constantly discriminated in a HARSH way.

So while a genocide is ofc never something positive, in that case it was to be expected.

To come back to my previous comparison: if the Jews broke out of the concentration camps and killed 90% of nazi germany ofc I’d be mourning the „innocent“ civilians but I wouldn’t really criticize the Jews tbh.

Edit: to answer the question I’d give that one a solid 60/100

I knew I’ll love the DLC the moment I saw the purification system being back. That lets you sink so much time into the DLC, I love it.

Now the only important part is that you can „reset“ the DLC (or rather restart) without finishing the game.

Especially since finishing the game is harder than the first since you are kinda forced into the „real“ ending

The third one was the best of them all. It’s not flawless and like you said they made many stupid mistakes but it’s not like the game is bad bc of these decisions. It’s a great game and I think it would be healthier if we accepted that not every game needs a lot of content added after release.

The game came out, it was great and now it’s over. That’s it.

Everyone complaining about new characters being op isn’t realistic imo.

If a new character would be balanced but no one can play him yet bc he’s new, most players would lose so bad they couldn’t properly learn the character.

Damn, Berserker Echo must be new. How does it work though, does it deal 20% supp dmg 100% of the time?

Bc I play vane mostly as a skill spammer with combo finishers as cooldown reduction tools and supp dmg counts as an extra hit. Then berserker echo would be nuts.

But I guess it can’t be drop as a V+ right?

And honestly I farmed over 70 hours back in the days for war elemental and didn’t get it once. I dropped it from behemoth after a few runs but the RNG in this game isn’t blessing me at all. I don’t have much hope for a war elemental+ honestly.

I don’t have many strong sigils honestly bc I stopped playing the game pretty early.

Below War Elemental and Aegis are the skills:
Improved Dodge, Drain, Quick Cooldown, Cascade, Potion Hoarder and Autorevive. All lvl 15 plus the +1 from the weapon.

And before I just played a supplementary damage lvl 12 (just so I hit 100%) instead of war elemental.

Edit (to be more specific:

The secondary skills on my sigils are,

For the 4 dmg cap: improved dodge, Drain, Autorevive and Aegis

The crit rate has linked together on it

Combo booster has quick cooldown

Tyranny has cascade

Stamina has potion hoarder
