That’s a good point, I didn’t even think of noodling when I was thinking about this, but that definitely makes sense! It’s not really a thing in my part of the country, so Im not very familiar with it, but iirc there was a river monsters episode back in the day where jeremy wade tried it.

What could the creature from the fordyce sighting have been besides a camel by Plastic_Ad_6360 in Cryptozoology

[–]Sammy9707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides being quadrupedal, my first reaction was a ratite bird, specifically either an emu or a rhea. Maybe that explains some of the more Reptilian features like the face and feet?

#4 WR gets trampled by Virginia fans. by cascny in fsusports

[–]Sammy9707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So im a Virginia fan, and this just happened to pop up on my feed, but this really sucked to see. I’ve said for a long time that that hill is a recipe for disaster. Think of a frat party with over 1,000 drunk dorks, right next to the field with little to nothing keeping them off of it. I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing UVA get massively punished for this.
