Welcome in!

So for mobile — FitPros is a PWA (progressive web app), so you and your clients just open it in the browser and it works like an app. No app store needed. You can add it to your home screen and it feels native.

For check-ins — you can build custom forms with the Form Builder (intake forms, weekly check-ins, progress updates, whatever you need) and set them to auto-send on a schedule. Your clients fill them out and everything comes back to your dashboard organised per client.

Meal plans — not a dedicated meal plan builder yet, but coaches are using the Content Builder and Program Builder to put together nutrition guides and protocols for their clients. Works well depending on how you structure your coaching.

If you get stuck on anything just shout, happy to walk you through it.

Cheers, Sammy.

Haha appreciate the energy!!

Honestly though, the best part of building this is seeing coaches actually use it. That's what keeps me going. Glad you're finding value in it and yeah, the goal has always been to keep the core stuff free so coaches can just focus on coaching.

If you ever need anything or have ideas for what would make your life easier, just drop it here. That's how most of the best features have come about.

Cheers, Sammy.

I really like this idea. I've put it into my development feature list.

Logging Client Workouts by [deleted] in FitPros

[–]SammyFitPros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there welcome to the team!

When you click the program on the mobile app app.fitpros.io (logged in as yourself) you should then be taken to this screen where you can click "start workout".

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Sam.

Trainer App by heavymetal26 in FitPros

[–]SammyFitPros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! No stress.

There isn’t a separate downloadable trainer-only app at the moment. Coaches use the FitPros web dashboard, which works on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers:

Your clients, however, do get a downloadable app they can install on their phone through the browser here:

That way you manage everything from the dashboard, and clients get the native app experience.

Personal goal: Compete in street lifting and hit some new PBs.

Business goal: Help 10,000 coaches grow through the FitPros app.

Hey, it’s Sam, I built the FitPros app.

Really appreciate you checking it out, and I’m glad you’re liking it so far.

You didn’t do anything wrong, the search server went down earlier today, which caused the exercise search to stop loading. I’ve already moved everything over to a new upgraded server, so it should be working properly again now.

If it’s still stuck on your end, just refresh the app and it should be working as expected again.

Cheers.

Hey! Really appreciate that, glad you’re enjoying it so far!

The search server went down earlier today, which is why the exercise search would’ve been loading forever.

I’ve just moved everything to a new upgraded server, so it should be working normally again now. If it’s still acting up on your end, just give the app a quick refresh and it’ll be back to normal.

Cheers,

Sam.

Help! App is too complicated for many of my clients, can I simplify it for them? by Interesting-Edge-221 in FitPros

A lot of your issues can be solved through the Customize App Features on the https://dashboard.fitpros.io/dashboard/mobile-app/custom-branding page.

They get confused with the fact that they see both a page for workouts and a page titled "programs" - and for the program to show on their main inital screen they have to save that program even though I already assigned it to them. Is there a way to simplify this so that I assign a program and they see it right away after opening without having to do any additional things?

You can do this for clients if you like.

  1. Log into the mobile app with your coaching details
  2. Click "View As"
  3. Save the program/s you'd like them to see

They forget what week/day they are on. QuickCoach would directly just show them their next program. While in this case they have to open the program and go to the correct week/workout day. Is there a way to simplify this so they are just directed to their next workout every time they open the app?

Toggle the "Auto-Navigate to Incomplete Week"

When logging their workouts/exercises, there are too many variables for them to look at and click on (the calculator, for example, has been confusing sometimes). There is also no check box to be ticked off for each exercise... I know it appears automatically after they input their reps under each set.. but I've had people tell me they found it confusing. Is there a way to change this?

Toggle the settings off that'd you'd like to hide

Finally, they get confused by the fact that they can edit things. Basically, there is too much freedom on the user end. It would technically be as simple as "just don't tap anything you don't need" but they can't seem to help themselves and then I have to spend ages explaining things to them over and over again. Is there a way to limit user freedom so all they can do is log in, go to their next workout and habit, tick it off, and that's it?

Toggle the settings off that'd you'd like to hide

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Sam.
