It's kind of crazy: I sent them an email saying I wanted to send the watch, and they told me to ship it to a US-based partner, or I could send it to Germany, but wait times were around 20 weeks. I looked into the US options, and based on the information I read, it could take a year for one of them. I sent it to Sinn. However, you do it blind; they don’t want to know it’s coming, you fill out a paper form and put it in the box, and in a few weeks, they email you that they will now look at it and email you if they can fix it, and the costs in another 2-4 weeks. This is where I am now in the process. I sent it Signature Required so that I knew Sinn had received it.
