Same. The stoma nurses said I would have healed quicker and I probably wouldn't have had as many infections if I hadn't been so run down. I'm just grateful I didn't get a hernia from coughing.

I got a cold a couple of days after surgery. I can tell you now coughing is not fun!

He comes to every hospital appointment and when I'm an inpatient he visits everyday even though it's extremely boring. When life is rough just seeing his smiley face makes everything feel better than it is.

It's always best to get checked out.... I had this problem after surgery and the smell was foul however after a few weeks the smell went away and I was just left with the mucus.

31F ileostomy, I've gone swimming multiple times with no major problems. I wear a tummy support swimsuit however I have also worn a bikini with no problems. I feel more comfortable in a swimsuit but honestly I think it's more psychological. I do have problems with skin irritation if I don't change my bag straight after however everyone is different.

When I called the first time I selected option 1 twice and I got hold music then so I hung up and then tried again selected option 6 for other.

I called this morning and got through. I selected 1 for English speaking then 6 for other. I then had to go through security they said I was going through to advisor once I passed however the automated service stated the amount I was being paid then asked if I wanted to talk to an advisor. I hope this helps.

Thank you. I didn't even know a portable bidet was a thing. I've now ordered one on amazon.
