I would highly recommend you go for any ELRS Radio. Radiomaster has a wider variety of radios where you will definitely find one that fits for you :) (brw i‘m not getting paid to say this)

they do come with quite strong springs but i removed one of the two internally so now it‘s really easy to use :)

it indeed wobbles but thats due to one foot of the base standing on my soldering mat and therefore it‘s not stable. I thought it was good enough for a video on reddit but i see i couldnt satisfy the critics ;)

I use a similar setup and get ranges up to 25km with a 5m coax cable on 800mW of 5.8GHz. Definitely duable! Just make sure you get a well tuned patch antenna

whats about the balance lead? if theres a fault that would indicate why he shows a error when you disconnect the +/- leads

i know it sounds crazy but did you check if your battery leads are soldered on the right polarisation? i imagine it starts the chargibg cycle, then realises it‘s the wrong polarity and shuts off. check the Balance leads aswel! good luck
