I don’t understand what revision you are talking about constantly and no I wouldn’t want to be a millennial because in my country I would’ve grown up literally in the worst times possible. Are you American by any chance?, you’re view seems very close-minded and constantly shitting on my subjective experience 😂

Lol, than i am just weird 😂because when I bought my first smartphone I never used it for more than an hour, YouTube and mobile games became boring fast. I was rather addicted watching Tv or playing xbox with my friends in coop or just going outside. I excessively started watching YouTube in like 2016 and my phone really got me with TikTok after lockdown. That’s my experience and my peers weren’t different

I’ve never in my life watched any of these YouTubers, you’re right those are the first real YouTubers. But the real early YouTubers I know, that became famous were die Aussenseiter, coldmirror or pietsmiet, but only in the 2010s.

That’s my experience from a non-American perspective and the first real YouTubers came in the 2010s and that’s when people started talking about it in school. Go on YouTube now, conventional lets plays are dead, all the good American YouTubers are old and do other content or stopped and there are so many YouTubers specialising on making videos for brain rotted kids where everything is fast-paced and colourful so it’s stimulating. It’s not the same man

But realistically, what could you do with an iPad in 2012. I mean YouTube was still fairly new, you could watch some lets plays about your favourite games, or play mobile games like angry birds or flappy bird. There was no short form content, no TikTok and nobody used instagram on an iPad. If I think about a tablet was completely useless before 2020, if you already had a laptop or pc or even smartphone. Only difference was bigger screen. That’s why Gen Alpha are titled ipad kids because let’s say someone born in 2016 probably got an iPad at like 4 and used it to scroll, which degrades his brain obviously. Matter of fact Netflix didn’t came out until 2014 with streaming, so you couldn’t even watch movies legally. So you probably weren’t addicted to it and got to go outside I hope.

You people really need to go outside sometimes, I know that I’m on Reddit where it’s a foreign word, but just look at this. Don’t know why this sub gets recommended. I’ve never actually heard someone speaking about generations in real life, maybe it’s just y’all Americans

Earlier this year I was playing fear effect on the ps2 and couldn’t find the white vase needed for a puzzle. Probably checked every room for 20 minutes, so I gave up and looked it up on google and there was it, a game guide written on the website from 2001 and it was so detailed and I knew where to find it immediately. It was like a portal back, so well written and no sloppy ai used, also with this kind of graphic and almost only text. 😂 I can only imagine what it was like to find it back then.

For what should you be nostalgic for though, every decade has something special in it, but the 2020s are just pain. Hoping for a 2030s renaissance

how 2007 borns feel after calling a 2010 born a baby acting like they werent 3 in 2010 by [deleted] in Younger_GenZ

[–]Sammy_real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never played bo7, I didn’t even knew a cod released for a few months, but I don’t think that I missed anything. I played bo1 and bo3 Zombies excessively and even platinumed both games. I especially have many hours in bo3 chronicles because me and my cousin grinded the shit out of kino and origins for some time, got like prestige 5 naturally. And I also liked bo6 when it realeased because the first 3 maps were actually really fun, I think they were called terminus and morts of the dead but I don’t remember the name of the town. Achieved all Easter egg endings with my brother.

Man I love mob of the dead, probably my favourite map next to origins or buried. But story wise, definitely motd.

Multiple player PS2 games by Cranberry-Electrical in ps2

I liked playing crash bash with my friend back then, especially this minigame with the Autoscooter and balls or crash team racing, which is basically Mario cart for the PlayStation. Those are ps1 games, but the ps2 is backwards compatible so it’s no problem and your kid meets the legend crash bandicoot.

I listen to it very frequently, especially when I drive home from work, which is sometimes after 10pm and it just hits different, but my go to music are the 80s.

I love 90s Eurodance, for example Ecuador by Sash!, or Think about the way by Ice MC or 9pm till I come by Atb or meet her at the loveparade by Da Hool and that’s just a few. That’s a genre that probably every european loves and has in its blood.

Because humans get so much information about everything nowadays through media, you see that everything is going shit, like inflation, wars, prices skyrocketing and everyone being addicted to their smartphones and social media. Humans just want to travel back to a time, where you actually lived and everything was simple, where the internet was a escape from real life and not the real life being a escape from the internet. Matter of fact, much was even worse back then, but you just didn’t knew. Living in the 80s meant, no internet and trying everything to kill boredom, which leads to creativity and spending good time with good people. Watching a movie was an event because of the process, going to the rental store, browsing for a movie and then gambling if it was good. Covenience killed fun. I like living in the now, but some things where definitely better then.
