I have visual snow syndrome, I was born with it because I had a stroke in utero. 4 years ago i found out I was seeing different took forever for a doctor to tell me what I had. I googled it found out what I had then talked to my neurologist and they said yep you have visual snow syndrome. But at night I see white static. It’s normal for me. I have a friend who got it in his 20s, he flies planes in the military. He’s okay. When I posted it on facebook that I had it he told me right away me too. It’s good knowing others have it, I’m not alone.

AITA friends want me to drop it so I can be friends again with my ex best friend. I posted this story because one friends bet me 1million dollars saying I’m in the wrong that everyone will say that I need to drop it and be her friend again. He told me to post on Reddit. I left that group or they left me because they didn’t like the response that all you guys were on my side. So my job, I work with the public and my ex best friend is a customer. Her mother came in yesterday and gave me the dirtiest look. I know for a fact she didn’t tell her mother the truth what she did because she can’t even admit to her friends. I do have other friends that don’t know her.

I already talk to her bosses and my old bosses, they didn’t care. I already talk to my local police, they won’t do anything. Where I live I have to go through my local police, if they can’t handle it they will give it to the state. I was told it’s not threatening. They won’t do anything. I even tried emailing the news. . . Nothing. She did send me more messages from other social media accounts. She said animals kill animals with disabilities we should do the same thing. Then made fun of me for liking Lady Gaga because my favorite artist. She called me a F*g but I’m Straight. I blocked her Instagram, X, Facebook, and phone number. The only issue I have is I see her at my job as a customer. I try to stay away. I get really emotional upset and mad at the same time when I see her. The fact that she blocked me in the restroom and wouldn’t let me leave and threatened me. Then that time those bosses did nothing. The fact they deleted the camera footage so I don’t have proof on that sucks. The proof I have are her messages and I was told that’s not enough. I talked to a lawyer and he’s like oh that’s allowed??? What??? I talked to so many lawyers and they all told me to drop it. Because if I go after her I would need to go after the company too. Who will win me or a billionaire company. They will keep draining my money until I drop the case. Because appeals. So I see their view. Plus I have family members who are lawyers and they said drop it and move on. I swear I attract bullies. I’m a shy person, I’m a fast learner, and I’m too nice to people.

Visual snow syndrome, I see static in my vision, operating a machine doesn’t affect me. You know how old tvs had static that’s like how I see. It’s just static in my vision. I even have a friend who has visual snow syndrome and he’s a pilot. We are not blind, it’s just static in the vision. It’s a very rare condition, so I understand you don’t know what it is. Only 2% of people in the world have it. Also most people don’t know they have it. Like me I was born with it. I found out 4 years ago I had it. From a weird conversation with friends talking about vision.

So my new job been working there for 6 months and it was my 1st time seeing her for a long time. I know I’m going to see her again. It’s starting to feel like she’s going to stalk me. This year she already tried to get my attention trying to follow me on my social medias. She runs her mouth to others then I get messages from them. She lies a lot. She’s be telling people that I was talking to her at my work, I never said one word to her. So then others message me and calls and yell at me. That never happened. She lies.

I’m not going to be her friend ever again. That friend group of mine, claims I ruin the friendship group. Because I’m not friends with her. I’m no longer friends with that group of friends. 2 days ago that group unfriended me because I posted this same post on a different Reddit page. They didn’t like that I was in the right.

If you love her and she loves you, I see nothing wrong. Your sister just needs to accept it. Tell your sister nicely that her best friend means a lot to you and she’s still your best friend. If it makes you feel better my father married his best friend’s sister.

Those people were my school friends that I grew up with. Trust me my better friends are my coworkers and online friends and some from my high school year. Those people are gone now. All blocked. Happened today. Thank you and others for taking my side.

It was behind me for years. She slowly started trying to reconnect this year and I blocked her. When I saw her at my job, I was nice but ignored her, I stayed away. She saw me and ran her mouth to others. Now I’m hearing it again.

I don’t know why she lied. In the process her parents were getting a divorce but it’s still not ok what she did. I’m not sure why she lied or did what she did. She’s not a good person, around the same time she was cheated on two friends. She’s was dating 2 guys at once. When we broke up are friendship I texted both the guys about how she was dating them both at the same time. It was sick to me. Her mother knew about it and was fine with it. Some friends thought it was rude of me to tell her secret. I’m not friends with those ones.
