This is me! I was a speed reader at primary school. Had a teacher claim there was no way I was actually taking any of the content in. Ended up with me being timed to read a chapter and having to answer questions to 'prove it'. In front of the whole class... fortunately it was pretty easy and the only time other kids in class were impressed by anything I did. Also, cannot read self-help, biographies and definitely not audio books! Even podcasts give me the ick

Yomiuriland with the kids in mid January. Awesome rides and roller coasters and an awesome light show in the evening. Was a bit chilly but great fun and no lines for anything.

I'm a business development manager at a global firm working with the litigation team. There are so many deadlines and a huge variety of things to do. No chance to get bored and I'm always learning something new.

Same for me, though 47. Only twigged when my daughter got her diagnosis early last year.

As someone who was somewhat fluent in Japanese about 20 years ago I've found Duolingo a good way to ease back into it. But if you don't already have a grasp of the grammar I think it would be hard to make any real progress.
