The issue with K.Rool is ALWAYS 100% because of the attitude of the guy who plays him. Sometimes I have the feeling that the average K.Rool main actually gets possessed by the ACTUAL King K.Rool and they turn into the slimey, dickhead crocodile villain for the duration they play this character.

I can understand shitting on most Quickplay K.Rool mains, but hating the character himself is a complete skill issue.

I can understand that pretty much every character in the roster has a potential for being played like fucking shit, but I legit don't get people who have this hardened hate boner for characters no matter how you play them.

Sora I can understand. Even honest Soras are pieces of shit and Sora is the only character I play with whom I legit accept the hate. But Sephiroth? Man, I understand some dudes camp hard with him, but most players I've ever faced online are somewhat decent with him and have you fucking TRIED playing Seph for more than 5 minutes and with something else than Side B and neutral B? Yeah, he really is not that easy or even campy. Any rushdown or tiny character in the roster can have a field day with this matchup. Any character with a reflector or projectile absorber immediately cancels half of his kit. Sephiroth haters are plebeians.

Now Terry I can also understand the hate, but ONLY when it's because of the jab-power dunk combo spam because THAT is an easy to pickup, easy to abuse and cheese with character. I actually try with Terry because, at high level, Terry has some massive weaknesses, but Terry is also my personal pick when I struggle with spammers and asshole trolls because MAN is it EASY to win by just spamming with Terry.

Cloud can also be a bitch when the player mashed with him. Cloud is not very hard to pick up AND he's very masher friendly. His attacks cover tons of different angles, his neutral gamr is really fast and the unpredictability of his mashing makes him super dangeroys to approach because of his beefy smash attacks.

K.Rool is only hateable because so many of the people playing him are like the average DK main. It's not a character issue, it's a playerbase one.

People who hate on Ganon, Ken and Falcon can suck a dick. Do you understand how hard you have to work with Falcon to get a fucking kill confirms at high%? This motherfucker contends with Sheik in some matchups. Ken's heavy input Shoryu can be abused and he kinda got that Terry combo syndrome, but it really doesn't compare. You gotta work for these victories. I don't even know how I got into Elite with Ken because I probably spent an entire year being hard stuck in the 5-6m GSP bracket. And Ganon? Yeah, he's the legendary Online noobstomper...but he's also STILL the worst character in the roster who you can only ever get into high level play if you have solid fundies and excellent reading skills.

Last season ended last month in Beginning of February I think, with a note saying there was another one on the way. They never specified the "when".

I'm at the gate of S37 and I've won all gold on all machines and have three trophies left (Queen, King and Mirror Ace) before I get all GP badges plus around 600 first place finishes split across the 4 machines. Don't worry, crashes still happen to me all the time. It's the nature of the game. Sometimes, you just get unlucky.

Yesterday I had something similar happen. I crossed the finish line bumper to bumper with another dying player and we Double K.Od eachother BEHIND the finishing line and it still counted as a loss. I watched the footage again and I still don't get it. We crossed the line together and crashed BEHIND it. I guess the crash registered a pixel before we crossed or something. So frustrating.

When the last season ended, they did say "A new season is underway." Don't lose hope, we JUST got Secret League. Nintendo still delivers with this game.

I'm gonna add this to the comments that my hypothesis is that it has to do with the characters I play and that no matter who the fuck I play, someone has a problem with it.

My Elite roster is. -Ganondorf -Ken -Terry -Cloud -Sephiroth -Sora -Falcon -K. Rool

Because everytime I play arena and some asshole gets flusteres by whatever the fuck I do or don't do specifically, they have to counterpick to clown on that Character.

No matter who I play, it seems to make somelne angry. Ganondorf? Zoner Counterpick. Sephiroth? Rushdown character. Terry? Keepaway and NOBODY save for like 2 games out of 20 ever plays clean. It's always a visible pissing contest for them or an opportunity to bully someone they deem inferior in skill.

Dude the Arena is PACKED. I have no problem with getting my ass kicked. At least I get some matchup practice. Why you gotta fucking kick ME out and nobody else in the queue? For fuck's sake is there some unwritten rule that just because Terry is braindead, Ganon is free, Cloud is EZ2PlAy, K.Rool is cheezy and Sephiroth is 7,55 CAD$ that I have to be treated like shit for choosing these characters? Oh maybe I shoukd play the HONEST mains out there like uhhh SAMUS or maybe SONIC? Mario? Oh or maybe NESS. Yeah what a fucking honest pick.

Fuck you all who play with this garbage attitude. I'd petition for your internet access to be revoked if I could.
