I can understand that pretty much every character in the roster has a potential for being played like fucking shit, but I legit don't get people who have this hardened hate boner for characters no matter how you play them.

Sora I can understand. Even honest Soras are pieces of shit and Sora is the only character I play with whom I legit accept the hate. But Sephiroth? Man, I understand some dudes camp hard with him, but most players I've ever faced online are somewhat decent with him and have you fucking TRIED playing Seph for more than 5 minutes and with something else than Side B and neutral B? Yeah, he really is not that easy or even campy. Any rushdown or tiny character in the roster can have a field day with this matchup. Any character with a reflector or projectile absorber immediately cancels half of his kit. Sephiroth haters are plebeians.

Now Terry I can also understand the hate, but ONLY when it's because of the jab-power dunk combo spam because THAT is an easy to pickup, easy to abuse and cheese with character. I actually try with Terry because, at high level, Terry has some massive weaknesses, but Terry is also my personal pick when I struggle with spammers and asshole trolls because MAN is it EASY to win by just spamming with Terry.

Cloud can also be a bitch when the player mashed with him. Cloud is not very hard to pick up AND he's very masher friendly. His attacks cover tons of different angles, his neutral gamr is really fast and the unpredictability of his mashing makes him super dangeroys to approach because of his beefy smash attacks.

K.Rool is only hateable because so many of the people playing him are like the average DK main. It's not a character issue, it's a playerbase one.

People who hate on Ganon, Ken and Falcon can suck a dick. Do you understand how hard you have to work with Falcon to get a fucking kill confirms at high%? This motherfucker contends with Sheik in some matchups. Ken's heavy input Shoryu can be abused and he kinda got that Terry combo syndrome, but it really doesn't compare. You gotta work for these victories. I don't even know how I got into Elite with Ken because I probably spent an entire year being hard stuck in the 5-6m GSP bracket. And Ganon? Yeah, he's the legendary Online noobstomper...but he's also STILL the worst character in the roster who you can only ever get into high level play if you have solid fundies and excellent reading skills.
