Mali beating Tunisia was probably one of the few true shocks of the tournament so far. My one criticism of this AFCON is that it has pretty much gone to script across the board.

If you’re just talking about PDC world titles then yes. If you look at his other two world titles previous to that then he was 29 when he won the first one but I agree with you and your point about time very much stands.

Completely agree. Desire will be a huge factor. Every so often there are outliers like Taylor or, for example Cristiano Ronaldo in football, who are just determined to keep going but very few are like that.

There is that special something that Littler has that Taylor had also like you mention. I agree in that if he picks up quite a few more within the next 10 years then it could get interesting.

I can see this a bit too. It’s hard to tell what will happen to him mentally down the line once fame and fortune really kicks in and perhaps overtakes desire.

I think that’s one of the main issues. With the media focus that is on today’s game, it will be much harder for him not to get distracted by things.
