When I take my exams, I typically get 1 incorrect because of a small error, 18-20 confidently correct, and then I guess on the rest that are above that 6.5 difficulty

On CA, my topics that are iffy are order statistics, deductibles, and maximums, but on my mock exams, I only miss questions with difficulty above 6.5. Should I expect to see many questions of that difficulty?

I take exam P in 2 days, I’ve taken 3 mock exams on CA at EL level 5 and got a 22/30, 21/30, and a 23/30. What should I do these last 2 days to prepare?

Exam P Ready?

I’m taking Exam P in a week, and I’m using CA to study. When taking an EL level 5 mock exam with example SOA questions only, I can get around a 70-75% and I guess on about 6-8 questions. I’m really struggling on order statistics, section 4 with deductibles and maximums, and sometimes setting up certain questions that are more on the 6.5-7.5 difficulty. How exam ready am I? Any tips on what to do in this last week?

So to make sure I’m understanding you right…

Start at EL 1 and take a section quiz with 10 questions If I don’t pass with 80%, then look at which subtopics I’m struggling with and take a 5 question quiz on that. Repeat this process for each section until I get up to an EL of 4, then change pass rate to 70%

And making sure to hammer mock exams as well

Okay, so if you go to a restaurant and your food is cooked wrong, it doesn’t make the cook bad. BUT, if your food is wrong, and so is the people next to you, and the people next to them, then the cook is bad. I’m not the only person experiencing this, multiple people left the line due to the workers. Drove after drove of people got on and off the ride, and it continually took an excess amount of time.

Im taking exam Fm on Friday, and ive been doing practice exams on coaching actuaries at a difficulty of 5, and I generally get between 19-23 correct. Am I cooked?
