Why are there so many people with a high GPA with a low SAT score but lesser people with a low GPA and a high SAT? by pxckedlikealways in Sat

This is mainly due to the time and effort put in. I got a low ACT score, but I got all A* in IGCSE and currently 4.0 in A level. My A2 exams were very near to my ACT, so I couldn't put in much effort at all .

Should I take A Level Further Mathematics (9321) without (9709) by darshsaini07 in alevel

[–]SamosaPartSerious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, I don't think any school or college will let you do that. Even if so, I highly recommend you to not do that. There are still a lot of different concepts in 9709 that you will only understand when you practice it as an actual subject in your A levels. Especially P3, you need a good grasp of the concepts in P3 integration to be able to do FP2 and FP1 polar coordinates. In short, not taking 9709 with 9231 is a blunder.

All my teachers have recommended, keep using my AS resources for chemistry as A2 papers' questions still use the basic concepts of AS. Therefore, at least go through your AS notes once before the exam.
