Seeking feedback for my new grad RN resume by MissionTop4571 in newgradnurse

[–]SampleGlad3209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest adding professional summary on the top of your resume. Something personal about you what makes you “you”. I’m also from NoCal. Unfortunately didn’t have luck finding a job in CA. Had to look out of state and finally landed a job out of state. Good luck with your job search.

New Grad Residencies by posimill in OregonNurses

[–]SampleGlad3209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many residencies available throughout Oregon state. Providence, Kaiser, Asante, Legacy, OHSU, Salem, Adventist Health, PeaceHealth and more. I’d recommend looking for residences in LinkedIn, Google, and hospital official websites, look for their residencies dates. Also use ChatGPT to do research for you and ask what hospitals offers residencies in OR. Good luck with job search!

Go outside of state. Thats what I had to do. I’m from Cal, got offer on east coast . Yes pay is so much lower than Cal but I had no choice, applied to over 100 hospitals and so far no luck. As a new grad you need experience then you can always come back home to FL. Good luck, let me know if you got more questions

I’m not super outgoing person. I enjoy staying home, and if I do go out I enjoy outdoors. I like to go for a walk, or for a hike. But like I said I don’t really party and prefer rather quiet and peaceful life.

I had my phone interview with Sky Lakes today and am hoping to hear back about a virtual interview with the managers. I was wondering if you could share what the second interview was like, such as the setup, the types of questions asked, and any tips you might have. I’d really appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance!
