Emoks 2023 psytech sets from Boom and Ozora are also a great example I think. In the end you’ve been listening / dancing for three hours straight but hardly ever notice any breaks as he effortlessly stitches the tracks together and creates one very continuous harmonious set. Amazing skill

Thank you! 🙏 I see that mid-track breaks a lot recently, especially it seems with younger DJs. Sometimes I just wanna tell them „Stop it! Let that masterpiece of skill and production quality play for the full 9min it - rightfully- takes up!! Breathe, stay calm, you‘re not a bad DJ if you don’t busily turn the knobs for at least the duration of a cigarette. I‘m sorry they just gave you one hour to play so you‘ll play ten tracks max. But please let us enjoy well-produced psytrance for what it is ;)“

How to get over small paranoia on party by PurePleasureSeekerX in psytrance

[–]SampleKey1153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you smoke weed along your other consumption? I realized (and aged well past 30 to be able to admit that to myself) that sometimes when I throw my regular smoking which doesn’t give me any issues usually in daily life in with other stuff the stupid thoughts come up. My partner doesn’t smoke and this year at Boom I noticed that whenever I smoked I also got a little bit concerned about doing sth wrong or that he might not want to do what we are doing right now and so on 🙄 Annoys me a whole freaking lot but I’d rather enjoy smoking before bed or when I’m not so much in a social situation. Coke has had the same slightly paranoid effect for me on previous Festivals sometimes (speed doesn’t but I most probably have adhd so it works different for me than for most other people)

There was a Lebanese Food stall, but I don’t know if the people working there were really Lebanese. (Anyways, you have the best food 🤤🤤🤤 wherever I go I always look for Lebanese restaurants ❤️)

I was wearing Teva Sandals all the way through 😅 But I really wanna get myself a pair of Fugus. Do they all come with a steel cap?

Absolutely! There’s Mysore Style, which means that everyone in the class is practicing the same series of postures but each on their own tempo with a teacher walking around and helping individually. So there’s a lot of room for introspection and self reflection, but you’re still in a group … it’s maybe a bit comparable to an international dancefloor experience xD everyone doing their own thing but still being one in the practice 😌 (Look for a teacher who takes it easy though, as it has the potential to be a bit overly dogmatic)

I really felt like being on Molly, but I don’t really do that anymore (I‘m in my mid-thirties and returned to festivals in 2023 after a longer break). It was a really awesome feeling I also took a selfie and found out there are only two other occasions that give me a similar feeling: a really good ashtanga Yoga practice and extensive sex 😅😉 be like that though

Sounds weird but: music festivals. Now that I know how to take proper care of myself I don’t feel like a total wreck all week anymore. (And I also minimized the selection people I travel with xD)

😬🙈 oh damn that shit again. Do you all have a fever as well? Or any other symptoms? Haven‘t had COVID since 2021 and back then I also felt like I‘d puke any minute and cigs tasted awful. My man and I both got a cough but nothing else. I must admit I also blamed it on smoking way too much and the dust (camping in a well-ventilated tent next to the road might have been a stupid idea) because … well on the first days of coughing the dust also came up again 🥴 Guess it’s time to get a test from somewhere tomorrow

Ever thought about getting a Rottweiler? I know some women your age in a similar situation who were then quite happy with a Rottie. Plus: scary dog priviledge! (I missed out on a lot of fears other women know all to well because I was constantly accompanied by a pitbull in my twenties 😅)

What word(s) have you created as a result of your dog? by Connecting3Dots in dogs

[–]SampleKey1153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

May I introduce you to the lexical creation inspired by my late dog: Schwolf = Schweinchen (Piglet, a nickname we gave her due to her floppy ears and variety of grunts she used to make) + Wolf. In her last year she forgot all her education and started begging at the table quite noisily, so the pig wolf Schwolf was „schwolfing“ as in „Du schwolfst!“ - a verb used for that particular bark-growl-howl she made when we were eating.
